Supervisor Support (Remote)

Full time, United States

The Supervisor Support is responsible for the day-to-day management of an operational administration team, including managing key performance indicators (KPI) and team workload, providing assistance, and coaching. This role is the primary point of contact for the team members and actively coaches and develops the team to meet and exceed all performance targets. This position demonstrates an extensive understanding and applicability of all areas in the travel industry. You will work independently on requests as assigned and take the initiative to assist.

As a Supervisor Support, you will

  • Expertly use the appropriate BCD Travel tools and systems to complete requests
  • Perform quality management such as error management
  • Anticipate and assist with potential challenges that may arise for the customer
  • Monitor global distribution systems (GDS) queues daily to maintain quality control (according to client policy)
  • Seek opportunities to review operational administrative processes and the commercial relationship with the customer and provide suggestions for improvement
  • Provide a team of travel consultants feedback, including responding to questions, providing direction and feedback

About You

  • Solid working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures, and processes
  • Proficiency with travel industry systems (i.e. GDS Sabre)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills In English
  • Demonstrated excellent professional customer service and problem-resolution skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
