As an Associate Production Software Engineer for Oracle Health, your role is to provide client-facing technical investigation and issue resolution for your assigned software products. You will be responsible for analyzing client-reported technical issues within a large, mature code base in collaboration with other Software Developers, our aligned Technical Solution Analyst team, IP development engineers, the Product Management team, and client stakeholders. You will participate in an on-call support schedule for critical production incidents. The ideal candidate has experience troubleshooting and debugging software applications in Java or C#, is comfortable navigating Linux servers through the command line, and has basic familiarity with SQL databases. Experience using Eclipse, Microsoft Visual Studio and Splunk is strongly preferred, especially in the context of client-facing technical support.

Required Skills:

C# or Java Programming

Linux command-line (navigate and locate files, use command line utilities, understand automation based on existing documentation)

SQL - Basic (read and understand queries, develop simple queries for troubleshooting)

Ideal Skills:

XML and XML transformation using XSLT

Experience with financial software

Experience troubleshooting memory and system-resource usage (OOM errors, high CPU usage, slow performance)

Career Level - IC1

Responsibilities

  • Solve technical support issues in your assigned ticket queue
  • Participate in on-call support schedule and join incident calls to resolve critical issues
  • Communicate directly with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Log defects for client-reported issues when they require code correction
  • Understand and participate in quality assurance processes per team policy

US: Hiring Range: from $52,700 - $141,300 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
