Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Real Estate Financial Analyst with strong knowledge of real estate fundamentals and financial concepts. The ideal candidate will handle commercial real estate loans using Bloomas automated underwriting platform, ensuring precise data entry, financial analysis, and submission of business plans. This role requires expertise in analyzing leases, tax returns, and financial statements, with the ability to generate key schedules and reports for underwriting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loan Processing & Data Mapping: Process commercial real estate loans through Blooma\'s automated underwriting software, ensuring accurate data mapping from financial documents.
  • Creation of Financial Documents: Generate rent rolls and T-12 reports based on lease agreements and financial statements.
  • Lease & Occupancy Analysis: Create detailed lease schedules and occupancy history schedules to support loan applications.
  • Business Plan Submission: Collaborate with clients to develop and submit comprehensive business plans to the underwriting department.
  • Financial Document Review: Review and audit personal and business tax returns, financial statements, and entity structures to ensure accurate loan submissions and regulatory compliance.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with underwriters, loan officers, clients, and internal teams to ensure smooth loan processing.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all financial documents meet company and regulatory standards, generating necessary reports to support loan submissions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in real estate or financial analysis.
  • Experience with financial document creation, such as rent rolls, T-12s, lease schedules, and occupancy histories.
  • Familiarity with business and personal tax returns and entity structures.
  • Expertise in real estate loan processing, particularly in commercial real estate.
  • Strong understanding of real estate fundamentals, including lease review, rent roll analysis, and loan types.
  • Proficiency in financial software and data entry systems like Blooma,
