AECOM is hosting an exclusive, invitation-only hiring event in New York City on November 7th and 8th. If you're a current college engineering student and you are graduating in Winter 2024 or Summer 2025, we'd love to hear from you!

Job Description

AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Civil Engineer to be based in New York, NY or Raleigh, NC.

This position is expected to begin in May or June 2025.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Building analytic and design skills.
  • Conducting engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
  • Creating designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
  • Collecting and analyzing data under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
  • Using computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
  • Performing work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision.

 

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Structural, or other related engineering field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Completed coursework in concrete design and structural analysis and structural steel.
  • Drafting/CAD applications (MicroStation, AutoCAD, and/or Civil 3D).
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
