Your mission
Did you know that 80% of the content that is uploaded on the internet contains video content? At Amberscript Group, we're on a mission to make all audio accessible. And as the world is changing and more and more content needs to be subtitled, we want you to be part of our mission. Watching your favourite TV shows on Netflix and Amazon? Wish you could understand it in your own language? Be a part of making that happen, join us and help us create content in different languages by creating subtitles for all sorts of media content for various production companies.

We use artificial intelligence to create source scripts, saving you and our customers hours of manual work and facilitating access to audio and video content for thousands of people with auditory impairments (deaf and hard of hearing). 

As a freelance subtitler at Amberscript you will be responsible for the translations and/or subtitles for a variety of (Media Industry) customers. 

As we scale and expand - the more content we need to subtitle. So, we're on the lookout for experienced translators to join our freelancers team.

Your profile

  • Experience with SDH subtitles, audiovisual translation and/or proofreading in German

  • German is your native language and your second language has a minimum of C1 level

  • Strong analytical, writing, and editorial skills

  • An eye for detail and a touch of perfectionism
