Job description

Charles Taylor is a leading international provider of professional claims and insurance services to clients around the world. Contego Investigative Services, LLC, a division of Charles Taylor, is a leading nationwide Investigative Services company with offices located across the United States. We are seeking an Operations Manager to join our team at Contego. This is a fully remote opportunity.

Position Summary

The Operations Manager will play a critical role in the functioning of a top-tier nationwide Investigative Services provider. Assisted by the entire Contego team, the Operations Manager is responsible for day-to-day field operations which include investigator management, client management, and scheduling, with a relentless focus on client satisfaction by providing the best work product in the industry.

Experienced applicants must have excellent communication skills and thorough knowledge of the principles of Surveillance and SIU. This is a fast-paced, growing company that requires someone to be able to work independently, multi-task, take initiative, and work on demanding time constraints. This is a US-based remote position and reports to the Director of Operations.

Essential Functions

  • Lead and manage a team of investigators, providing clear guidance on surveillance and SIU assignments.
  • Efficiently allocate resources to meet client requirements and deadlines.
  • Maintain the highest ethical standards in investigations and ensure compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
  • Collaborating with both longstanding and new clients, management, and employees, to drive initiatives forward and achieve operational excellence.
  • Other duties may be assigned.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred (e.g., criminal justice, business management) and/or Law Enforcement/Military experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the investigative industry.
  • Proven experience in operations management.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with investigative and research databases.
  • Proficiency in writing comprehensive investigation reports to meet company standards and client SOPs.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams).
