Job Description
The Healthcare Payer Digital Strategy Director will spearhead digital transformation initiatives for one of our largest clients. This visionary advisor will possess deep expertise in healthcare payer systems, digital technologies, and strategic execution. The Director will develop and implement digital strategies to optimize member engagement, streamline operations, drive product strategy, ensure regulatory compliance, and shape the future of digital healthcare.
Responsibilities
Strategic Advisory
- Develop and execute a comprehensive digital strategy aligned with the client's goals and objectives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to maintain competitiveness and compliance.
- Build digital roadmaps for C-level leadership.
Growth Mindset / Sales Partnership
- Drive client growth through collaboration with sales team and practice SME’s.
- Engage in all aspects of sales including opportunity identification and solution ideation.
Technology & Innovation
- Advising on adopting and integrating advanced digital technologies, including mobile apps, AI, machine learning, and cloud computing, to optimize payer operations.
- Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure successful deployment and scalability of digital solutions.
- Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging the exploration of new digital tools and platforms for continuous improvement.
Product Management
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including executive leadership, to define product vision, strategy, and roadmaps.
Operational Excellence
- Ensure seamless integration of digital initiatives with existing payer systems, processes, and workflows.
- Drive operational efficiencies through automation, data analytics, and process optimization.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of digital solutions, making data-driven decisions to enhance effectiveness.
- Implement robust quality assurance processes to maintain high product quality and user satisfaction standards.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with senior executives, department heads, and external partners to drive alignment and support for digital initiatives.
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and forums, promoting thought leadership in digital healthcare.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in digital transformation, with a strong focus on healthcare payer systems.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale digital initiatives in a complex, regulated environment.
- Deep understanding of healthcare payer operations, including claims processing, member services, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Deep understanding of Digital Operating models, including the Product Operating Model and Product Development teams across all disciplines.
- Proficiency in emerging digital technologies, including AI, machine learning, and cloud computing.
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically, balancing short-term needs with long-term goals.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and digital product management.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, CMS guidelines, and state-specific requirements.
- Experienced leader in digital transformation, developing actionable strategies that support the organization’s leadership team in ongoing digital transformation.
The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $103,584 to $209,800. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
