Role Summary

The Regional Vice President of Fulfillment Operations will enable Radial to achieve its mission to ensure we deliver on our client promises through accountability and proactive engagement with our clients. You will provide direction and oversight to Site Directors while coaching as needed to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and productivity objectives are consistently achieved and operational plans are delivered. You will attract and develop a strong leadership team through performance management and career development tools. You will set and achieve financial targets that enable future investment to grow the business. The Regional Vice President of Fulfillment Operations will report into the SVP of Service Delivery Operations.

Responsibilities

TEAM BUILDING & EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT

  • Coach/Player leading teams by providing a framework of expectations and leaning in to support operational execution when needed.
  • Attract, develop, and retain Site leadership including coaching and creating a talent pipeline.
  • Strong working relationship with other VPs of Fulfillment Ops to ensure cohesive approach to fulfillment network operating model.

CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS

  • Develop relationships with client leadership and understand key client business drivers.
  • Partner with Client Success team to provide updates on operational performance.
  • Support site leadership in proactive communication with clients on status updates
  • Partner on client renewals with Solutions team

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE

  • Ensure Radial’s Operating Model is in place at each Radial fulfillment location and support evolution of the Model as business evolves.
  • Analyze and follow-up to achieve expected results of throughput, efficiency, costs, and inventory accuracy.
  • Support your leadership team on solutioning business problems, providing Senior Leadership Team visibility, as necessary.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in operations and lead the partnership between Optimization and Fulfillment to implement continuous improvement initiatives.

BUSINESS AND P&L OWNERSHIP

  • Manage annual budget and own delivering monthly P&Ls for multiple sites.
  • Ability to forecast financial results while managing the operational processes within set guidelines.
  • Maintain accountability for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Assist in developing and implementing organizational strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to lead, direct and coordinate Site Directors for 10-15 multi-client fulfillment centers, with a focus on ecommerce, direct to consumer, business to consumer (D2C/B2C) sectors.
  • Strong track record in managing and developing multi-level leadership teams, overseeing 2,000+ full-time associates and 2,000-4000+ seasonal associates during peak periods.
  • Extensive experience with end-to-end operations, leveraging automation and manual solutions to optimize productivity and efficiency.
  • Expertise in orchestrating seamless workflows across multiple sites, ensuring consistent high performance.
  • Demonstrated ownership of successful client retention and satisfaction, with proactive communication and problem resolution skills.
  • Experience with contract management and high-level client engagements.
  • High-level ability to forecast and manage annual budgets across multiple high-volume sites, ensuring financial targets are met.
  • Skilled at analyzing financial results and adjusting operational processes to achieve optimal performance.
  • Proficient in maintaining accountability for Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Service Level Agreements (SLA), with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to thrive in high-variability environments, quickly identifying and implementing course corrections as needed.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a strong sense of urgency and hands-on problem-solving capabilities.
  • Effective lean thinker, driving continuous improvement and organizational agility.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 8-12 years of progressive Operations and management experience required.
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems a plus (ideally, Manhattan WMOS and Pyramid WCS)
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs.

Travel:

  • This position can be remote in the US.
  • Travel required at least 75%.
  • Extended travel periods and time away from home required.
