Your missions

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Sr Capability Manager to join their dynamic team. This remote position offers the opportunity to work on a complex claims-impacted initiative, Project Promise Gold Carding Initiative, and collaborate with a diverse team of professionals.

As a Sr Capability Manager, you will be responsible for working closely with Claims Business Partners to develop requirement capabilities. You will define business needs and collaborate with the Strategic Domain Product Owner, Architecture Teams, and IT Support to determine Solution Intent. You will manage capabilities across the delivery lifecycle, applying a prioritization framework, and establish lasting relationships with relevant business teams for strategic alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support capability vision, strategy, priority, and roadmap
  • Engage appropriate enterprise-wide stakeholders to enable awareness and alignment
  • Gather, document, and groom business requirements
  • Mitigate, manage, and resolve risks and issues associated with capability delivery
  • Support initiative issue resolution and annual provider re-qualifications


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Intermediate or greater level of proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio
  • 3+ years of project management/capability management, business analysis, and/or product management
  • 2+ years facilitating workgroups
  • Demonstrated experience in gathering and evaluating requirements and writing and translating business requirements
  • Solid working knowledge of how to execute on project deliverables in a fast-paced environment


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Healthcare Industry experience
  • Prior experience with Agile methodology
  • Prior experience with Rally and Aha! delivery and roadmap tools
  • Ability to develop strong networks and ensure collaboration and consensus-building


Our client's team is comprised of a diverse group of Capability Managers, Product Owners, Engineers, and QE/QA Leads. As a Sr Capability Manager, you will have the opportunity to support multiple claims applications and work directly with senior-level business stakeholders.

The interview process will consist of two rounds, including video and phone interviews. Standard business hours apply, with flexibility for different time zones. Please note that all candidates must pass a drug test and background check once offered the position.
