Job description

We are seeking a Sales and Business Development Manager to expand our existing B2B business portfolio into the retail and foodservice sectors in Spain and surrounding markets, including Malta, Cyprus, the Balearic Isles, Canaries, and Greece.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Drive sales and business development in foodservice and retail channels.
  • Develop and manage relationships with clients in Spain and surrounding regions.
  • Identify and expand opportunities in the ice cream mixes, UHT milk and cream, butter, iced coffee, milkshakes, and chocolate milk markets, as well as a wide range of other food products such as sugar, milk powders, vegetable fats, emulsifiers, dextrose, sweeteners, and frozen or liquid fruit products.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure consistent supply of high-quality products from excellent raw materials.
  • Achieve sales targets and market penetration goals in key markets.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in the food industry, particularly in Spain.
  • Extensive distribution/supply chain know-how
  • Comfortable in setting up a business model
  • Proven track record in both foodservice and retail sectors.
  • Experience and knowledge in categories such as dairy, beverages, ice cream, and sweet products in the Spanish market.
  • Experience in other European markets would be an advantage.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
