This is a remote position.
The CFO will oversee and manage the financial operations of the organization, ensuring financial stability, compliance, and strategic financial planning. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in finance, with at least the last 5 years of experience specifically in the same field, and expertise in event planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all financial aspects of the organization, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Develop and implement financial strategies to support organizational goals.
Prepare and present financial reports to the board and stakeholders.
Manage financial risk and develop strategies to mitigate potential issues.
Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team.
Plan and coordinate organizational events to support program goals and enhance team engagement.
Collaborate with other departments to support overall organizational objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of management experience, with at least the most recent 5 years specifically in finance.
Proven experience in financial management, strategic planning, and compliance within the same field.
Strong understanding of financial regulations and industry standards.
Experience in event planning and coordination.
Background in technology and education is preferred.
