: N/APosition Objectives:
Follow up SMS inspection/ in-line/ final inspection for leather goods including
handbags, wallets, belt and small leather items.
Follow up Brand quality standard and manufacturing manual.
Technical support throughout salesman sample and production.
Follow up and maintain production schedule against delivery target.
Responsibilities:
Technical support throughout salesman and production
Follow up raw materials testing with factory and third-party inspection/ testing
companies and work out the test summary in a weekly basis;
Follow up reliability test reports with factory and make sure all potential problems
cleared before bulk production;
Follow up with factory for the Production schedule update in a weekly basis and
alert HK office if any potential shipment delay;
Planning the weekly in-line & final inspection schedule with factory and third-party
inspection company;
Communicate pilot run schedule and defective rate with MHK quality manager
and factory management.
Perform inspection for First of Production (FOP) during pilot run, record findings
and complete FOP inspection reports.
Perform in-line inspection, record findings and complete in-line inspection reports.
Communicate in-line quality problems with MHK quality manager and factory
management.
Follow up the in-line inspection results with factory and third-party inspection
company;
Follow-up re-inspection of defective product that has been re-worked and
corrected.
Follow up final inspection reports with factory and third-party inspection company;
Issue 8D reports to suppliers for all the quality incidents and follow up with
suppliers until correction actions implemented effectively;
Make sure all packing is correct and follow the production manual.
Monitor factory to perform needle scan by X-ray machine or handheld scanner.
Conduct the scan and pack process on daily process and report to manager if
supplier violate the agreed procedures;
Conduct quarterly audit for hygiene, humidity and sharp tools control;
Prepare seasonal quality analysis report for factory, including quality trend and
defect type analysis.
Requirements
Relevant Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Quality or related discipline.
5+ years of relevant experience in leather goods;
Good team player and problem-solving skills;
Excellent communication skills.
