Job description

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the global strategy for the Learning Management System, ensuring it supports the company's strategic objectives and global training needs.
  • Collaborate with regional stakeholders to ensure LMS processes are standardized, yet flexible enough to meet local requirements.
  • Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and security of all learning data within the LMS.
  • Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of LMS enhancements and upgrades in collaboration with IT and external vendors.
  • Manage relationships with LMS vendors and serve as the primary contact for vendor negotiations, contract management, and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor LMS performance, generating and analyzing reports to inform decision-making and report on learning metrics to senior management.
  • Provide guidance and training to LMS users and administrators across the organization.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in learning technologies and methodologies, incorporating best practices into the LMS processes.
  • Develop and manage the LMS budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and return on investment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Information Technology, or related field
  • Experience managing training requirements in a regulated industry (Medical/Pharmaceutical Background preferred)
  • Knowledge of ISO 13485:2016, 21 CFR Part 820, EUMDR training compliance requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in deploying/managing LMS or similar platforms at a global level.
  • SAP SuccessFactors LMS Certification/ SAP SuccessFactors Learning Management 2H/2023 (Preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects and initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of learning principles and technology's role in delivering effective training.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse stakeholder group across various levels of the organization.
  • Experience in vendor management, including contract negotiation and relationship management.
  • Analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret data and metrics to drive decision-making.
  • In-depth understanding of Learning Management Systems and their operation.
  • Familiarity with e-learning standards (SCORM, xAPI) and educational methodologies.
  • Knowledge of global training and development strategies and practices.
  • Awareness of the latest trends in digital learning technologies and pedagogical approaches.
  • Business process management and improvement methodologies.
  • Data privacy and security principles, especially as they relate to employee data and training records.
  • Strong project management skills to oversee LMS initiatives and implementations globally.
  • Analytical skills to interpret data from the LMS and create actionable insights.
  • Technical skills to work with IT teams and vendors on system integrations and enhancements.
  • Leadership and team management skills, including remote and cross-cultural team dynamics.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Problem-solving skills to address challenges that arise within the scope of global LMS management.
  • Ability to align LMS processes with overall business objectives and strategies.
  • Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, including HR, IT, and business leaders.
  • Ability to lead change management initiatives for LMS adoption and ongoing development.
  • Ability to facilitate training and knowledge-sharing sessions on LMS usage and best practices.
