The primary purpose of this position is to recruit and hire pharmacy interns, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals as assigned.
The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:
Organize and implement plans to recruit pharmacy interns, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to fill preferred areas from multiple recruiting sources. 25%
Collaborate with business partners to report field staffing statistics and develop recruiting strategies for open positions. 20%
Assist the Director of University Relations and Professional Recruitment with college recruitment days at universities within their area; assist in the development of pharmacy recruitment programs with the Director of University Relations and Professional Recruitment and university pharmacy programs. 20%
Utilize applicant tracking system to follow candidate through process.15%
Travel as appropriate to University events, professional organization conferences, and other events as applicable.10%
Actively participate in professional pharmacy organizations, lecture at pharmacy schools. 10%
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy (BS) OR PharmD required.
5 years of experience in Retail Pharmacy Operations, Human Resources, or Pharmacist Professional Recruitment required.
Or equivalent combination of education and experience Certificates, Licenses, and/or Registrations
Driver’s license for business travel, or other reason: required
