SGS Global Business Services Europe is a Shared Services Center (SSC) that is closely linked to our headquarters in Geneva. At the Katowice branch, we handle support for SGS branches in various European countries. 

Job Description

Main tasks:

  • Operate processes used to monitor the monthly performance of affiliates and feedback on actions required to improve performance
  • Approve audit proposals from affiliates including audit time calculations.
  • Gain and maintain the knowledge and understanding of SGS procedures and external approval criteria to allow efficient and effective IFS Proposal Worksheet approvals for affiliates.
  • Ensure that all IFS administrative reviews are done in time and according to defined parameters.
  • Ensure that IFS certificate issuance and uploading IFS certificates and reports is done without delays within the deadlines defined by IFS.
  • Ensure the IFS Portal is updated with client details and audit information to ensure we meet the IFS targets.
  • Process cancellations, suspensions and withdrawals for affiliate clients in an accurate and efficient manner to ensure all notification bodies are aware.
  • Undertake any other administrative tasks allocated by the GPM.

Qualifications

This role is perfect for you if you have :

  • 2+ years of full-time experience in Food industry or retail,
  • First degree or tertiary equivalent in a food-related or bioscience discipline,
  • Recognized HACCP qualification of a minimum of 2 days in duration with an examination,
  • Proficiency in English at a minimum B2 level,
  • Detailed knowledge of IFS standards. Experience and understanding of Food safety principles, Food safety and quality management principles, food manufacturing processes,
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook),
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and attention to detail;

Nice to have:

  • Lead auditor or technical reviewer experience in global food safety schemes (e.g., BRCGS, FSSC, IFS) across different product categories,
  • Additional language proficiency;
