Job description

About Revolut

People deserve more from their money. More visibility, more control, more freedom. And since 2015, Revolut has been on a mission to deliver just that. With an arsenal of awesome products that span spending, saving, travel, transfers, investing, exchanging and more, we've helped 45+ million customers get more from their money. And we're not done yet.

As we continue our lightning-fast growth,‌ two things are essential to continuing our success: our people and our culture. We've been officially certified as a Great Place to Work™ in recognition of our outstanding employee experience! So far, we have 10,000+ people working around the world, from our great offices or remotely, on our mission. And we're looking for more. We want brilliant people that love building great products, love redefining success, and love turning the complexity of a chaotic world into the simplicity of a beautiful solution.

About the role

The Legal team sits at the heart of Revolut and it's a very important part of the business. This lovely bunch supports all other Revolut teams, helping us achieve our goals each and every day.

They're special, they're strong-willed, and they work on a lot of different areas (which isn't that common for an in-house role, we know, but they're just that good)

From structuring credit programmes to launching into new territories, the Legal team does it all!

You'll be supporting the Legal department on a lot of different topics.

We need someone to draft, review, negotiate, and advise internal stakeholders as well as negotiate with external counterparts on commercial agreements, ✍

You'll also identify and consult on legal risks related to the development of new products, drive ongoing compliance review processes and so much more — all on board this rocketship.

Ready to fly us to the moon? 🚀

What you’ll be doing

  • Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and advising internal stakeholders (and negotiate with external counterparts where relevant) on fundraising, secondary sales, mergers, and acquisitions, investments, reorganisations, or other type of group restructuring — and intra-group agreements

  • Contributing to company's most significant projects by consulting colleagues and stakeholders on relevant corporate legal issues and helping to resolve arising legal challenges

  • Supporting with delivering initiatives and roadmaps aimed at improving the corporate function and processes

  • Monitoring changes to legal requirements and contributing to developments

  • Tracking, identifying, and contributing to the mitigation of contractual risk in corporate contracts and projects.

What you'll need

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Law

  • 6+ years of corporate experience as a corporate lawyer at a top law firm or in-house (experience of working in a Fintech company would be an advantage)

  • Excellent academic and law firm or in-house credentials

  • Enthusiasm and drive for delivering results

  • Exceptional attention to detail and an ability to demonstrate sound judgement, even in ambiguous situations

  • The ability to work independently and also contribute successfully to cross-functional teams

  • Fluency in English and Lithuanian

Compensation range

  • Lithuania: €7,500 - €8,300 gross monthly*

  • Other locations: Compensation will be discussed during the interview process

*Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and previous experience
