Division: Communications and Public Relations

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday

Job location: Alberta, Ontario, Quebec (Remote)

The Corporate Communications team is an essential partner to the business and we’re seeking a dynamic Manager, Corporate Communications, ready for an energizing career experience. As the Manager, Corporate Communications you will be responsible for:

  • Play a key role in the development, execution, and measurement of the annual Corporate Communications functional plan
  • Advance employee engagement, company purpose and values, and leadership vision through effective multi-channel internal communication practices
  • Develop and advise on communications strategies and tactics that align with corporate priorities and the objectives of key business partners
  • Craft communications materials for senior leaders, including but not limited to, key messages, speaking notes, announcements and video scripts
  • Oversee operations and enhancement of all internal communications channels, including company Intranet which remains primary channel to reach all global employees
  • Contribute to the Corporate Communications team’s measurement plan, including developing and tracking metrics to measure the impact of communications efforts and using data to evolve your work
  • Work in close concert with key business partners, including Human Resources, leading on critical employee initiatives that impact their experience at Aurora
  • Keep current of the business to deliver effective communications that reach our global team and work to build effective relationships, especially in hybrid work environment
  • Continuously enhance the services of the Corporate Communications team by bringing new and innovative practices forward
  • Provide counsel, support, and coaching to members of the Corporate Communications team
  • Support business transformation and issues/crisis, including development of strategic communication and corresponding communication materials to effectively reach all stakeholders
  • Manage the work of external vendors, providing feedback and direction, while adhering to budget and project timelines


You’re the ideal candidate if you have…

  • Post-secondary education in Communications, Public Relations, or similar discipline.
  • At least 7 years of progressive experience in Communications or Public Relations, within a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with experience writing for senior leadership
  • The ability to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling messaging and consistent corporate voice

  • Ability to handle sensitive information while maintaining confidentiality
  • Experience in public markets and cannabis industry knowledge considered an asset
