About The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Tester to join Shardeums engineering team. The QA Tester will be responsible for overseeing and executing a series of test plans related to our Layer 1 blockchain.
Responsibilities:
Execute QA tasks to ensure the highest quality of our features.
Employ various testing strategies such as regression, functional, and user acceptance tests across all products.
Run established automation tests and tools to maintain quality and accuracy.
Support in maintaining existing test scripts and test automation frameworks.
Identify and document defects and issues within software applications.
Review software bug reports and identify areas for improvement.
Independently deliver on assigned tasks with minimal guidance.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in QA Testing, preferably within a startup environment.
Proficiency in command line tools like Linux and Git, with a quick grasp of internal custom tools.
Ability to effectively communicate issue statuses to engineers.
Thorough understanding of software quality assurance methodologies.
Strong written skills and experience in technical documentation.
Adaptability to different projects and platforms with minimal difficulty.
Interest in blockchain and decentralized technologies is advantageous.
Familiarity with Jenkins is a plus.
