Job Description
Teledyne Instruments Inc. dba Teledyne Tekmar has a exciting opening for a Field Service Technician in the Atlanta, GA region.
Summary
Provide on-site service and installation of instrumentation, Service Contract sales and application support for new products
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Schedule and perform on-site installation, diagnose performance issues, repair, and preventative maintenance for products
- Promote, sell, and support Service products
- Provide technical support to customers via telephone and on-site visits
- Assist as escalation engineer for difficult, delicate or on-going situations as needed
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry or related scientific study; would also consider those with an Associate's degree (A. A.) in Engineering or an equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and 2 to 5 years related experience in laboratory troubleshooting/repairing analytical equipment and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Work well with other team members
- Professional written and oral communication skills
- Individual should have knowledge of Excel Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
Ability to travel including some overnight travel up to 75% of the time - A valid driver’s license is required for this role
