This is a remote position.

The client is a premier dance studio committed to fostering creativity, resilience, and individuality in every student. We offer a range of dance programs for children to adults, designed to enhance mental strength, endurance, and creativity, ensuring a holistic approach to the development of our athletes.

As a Student Success Manager at BDC, you are the heartbeat of our student and family experience. Your role is pivotal in introducing, educating, and enhancing the lives of our students and their families, fostering a sense of community and belonging. Your dedication to exceptional customer service and building lasting relationships is crucial to our mission. You will ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new students, maintain effective communication with existing students, contribute to achieving monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and continuously work on improving our services and community engagement.


  • Initial Contact and Engagement: Connect with new students and parents via email and phone within 24 hours of enrollment to set the foundation for a lifelong relationship with BDC.
  • Ongoing Customer Engagement: Develop nurturing relationships with existing clients through monthly check-ins, addressing concerns, gathering feedback, and ensuring satisfaction with our services.
  • Enrollment and Financials: Enroll students into the Dance Studio Pro (DSP) software, set up payment plans, and ensure timely payments. Respond promptly to inquiries via email and phone.
  • Work with the BDC Team to communicate with new students and gain feedback from teachers to assist you in converting sales.
  • Online Lead Generation, Marketing, and community Engagement: Strategically identify and execute online lead generation and marketing activities. Utilize digital platforms to search for and engage in marketing opportunities within our local area, and coordinate online community engagement initiatives.
    Build customer relationships through events and online communication.
  • Data Management and Documentation: Update and document interactions in our customer management system (Ontraport) in real-time, ensuring accuracy and completeness for future discussions.
  • Administrative and Communication Skills: Demonstrate proficiency with Google Suite, Ontraport CRM, Mailchimp, and other relevant tools. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and promote the value of our programs.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify problems and challenges promptly, notifying management and marketing to improve outcomes. Create, develop, and refine policies and procedures to optimize the customer experience.


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communication, Education, or related field.
  •   2+ years of experience in customer service, sales, or a related role, preferably in the education, arts, or fitness industry.
  •  Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  •  Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  •  Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Gmail, Sheets), Ontraport, Mail chimp, Slack and familiarity with productivity tools.
  •  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  •  Passion for dance, arts, and fostering a supportive community.
