Overview
An HR manager plays a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of human resources management within an organization. This role is vital in ensuring that the organization's human capital is effectively utilized and that all HR-related processes are aligned with the company's objectives and compliance standards.
Key responsibilities
Key responsibilities for this position include:
  • Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Overseeing the recruitment and onboarding process, including conducting interviews and making hiring decisions
  • Managing employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Ensuring compliance with labor regulations and HR best practices
  • Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
  • Conducting training and development programs for employees
  • Managing and resolving complex employee relations issues
  • Conducting regular HR audits to ensure legal compliance
  • Advising management on the resolution of complex employee relations issues
  • Developing and monitoring overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization
  • Supporting current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital
  • Monitoring compensation and benefits administration
  • Assessing training needs to apply and monitor training programs
  • Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues
  • Maintaining the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions
Required qualifications
Required qualifications for this position include:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Proven work experience as an HR Manager or similar role
  • Demonstrated experience with HR metrics and compliance
  • Strong understanding of labor legislation and employment regulations
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with employees at all levels
  • High level of discretion when dealing with confidential information
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office
  • HR certification, such as PHR or SPHR, is a plus
  • Experience working in a diverse and inclusive environment
  • Demonstrated experience in change management and organizational development
  • Strong understanding of talent acquisition best practices
