Hagerty Consulting, Inc. (Hagerty) is the nation's leading emergency management and homeland security consulting firm. Known for its public spirit, innovative thinking, problem-solving, and exceptional people, Hagerty is sought after to work on some of the largest and most complex crisis and emergency management issues. We serve our clients across the nation to enhance their preparedness programs; create more resilient and sustainable communities; provide innovative solutions to enhance their response; and obtain and manage grants and loans to support their recovery.

As Hagerty grows, we continue to look for talented professionals from a variety of backgrounds to provide holistic solutions to our clients. We are currently seeking a Grants and Data Manager to join our Federal Funds Management (FFM) team as we help our clients navigate complex funding landscapes and successfully identify and secure grant funds made available under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), the CHIPS and Science Act of 2022 and the 2023 Consolidated Appropriations Act. This is a full-time position that will be remotely based with client travel involved as needed. The ideal candidate should have grants management knowledge, experience working with large and complex data sets, be a self-starter and have a passion for public service or emergency management.

  • Define, collect, and analyze complex and/or large data sets on federal and state grant programs using Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
  • Prepare internal and external reports, including client and public facing project reports, grants reports, legislative reports, progress reports, and grant monitoring reports.
  • Assist with the establishment/maintenance of data and record keeping systems.
  • Assess and analyze federal programs under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, Inflation Reduction Act, and other federal grant programs.
  • Perform additional grants management and administrative tasks as assigned, such as supporting team members in other technical disciplines within the program.

  • Strong quantitative analysis capabilities.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret administrative and financial policy, program requirements, and Federal regulations.
