As an M&A Advisor with us, you'll step into a role where collaboration with senior leaders, immersion in all facets of the business, and close alignment with management teams of portfolio companies are not just encouraged but integral to your success. It's crucial to note that this opportunity is for independent contractors (1099), with no base salary provided, ensuring flexibility and autonomy in your work arrangements.
Your responsibilities will span a broad spectrum of tasks, including but not limited to crafting, analyzing, and elucidating historical and projected financial data, conducting exhaustive industry and company due diligence, preparing and reviewing transaction documents, orchestrating transaction execution from pitch phase to closure, executing valuations and ad hoc financial analyses, and actively contributing to business development endeavors.
Preferred qualifications for this role include impeccable attention to detail, a self-starter mindset coupled with robust organizational and time management capabilities, proficiency in both independent and collaborative work settings, a willingness to shoulder significant responsibilities, an advanced understanding of accounting and finance, a wealth of experience in financial modeling and valuation, exemplary verbal and written communication skills, and proficiency with financial and computer tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Candidates must possess an undergraduate degree, with an MBA being preferred, along with legal authorization to work in the United States or Canada. Additionally, holding a current FINRA Series 63 license, in addition to a Series 79 or 82 license, or demonstrating the willingness to secure these licenses, is essential.
