Job Description

The Belgian site, Gerresheimer Momignies produces and markets glass bottles for perfumery and cosmetics, intended for the whole world. The company is one of the major employers of the Hainaut region with more than 700 jobs and a turnover of €88m.

We are looking for high-performing Area Sales Manager (m/f/d) to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for crafting sales plans and justifying those to plans to the upper management.

 Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensures it’s strong presence
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
  • Management of customer demand and demand analysis
  • Management of stock level and especially old stock
  • Follow up of the invoicing and overdue invoices
  • Develop customer relationship by developing pillars such as competitiveness, CSR, innovation, quality and supply chain and define a roadmap for each pillar

Qualifications
  • Bachelor or master degree in business administration or a related field
  • Successful previous experience in area sales management
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to closing
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise
  • Speaking French and English fluently
  • The ideal candidate speaks German
  • A conductor with an entrepreneurial spirit
