Principal Software Engineer, Backend

Regrello is seeking a Principal Backend Software Engineer who knows the ins and outs of building backends for web applications, has shipped major projects or entire products and can reason fluently about scaling issues, data modeling, API design, distributed systems, authentication, integrations and all the behind-the-scenes magic that keeps a backend running smoothly. In this role, you will work closely with our senior engineers, junior engineers and product team to design, develop, maintain and scale backend Go/Postgres/Redis/GraphQL application code across the Regrello platform. You will drive projects, lead and participate in design discussions, communicate directly with customers, effect real change in an industry that is enthusiastically rooting for us and help empower the rest of our team to do their best work as well. This will initially be an Individual Contributor role but people management is an option depending on your interest and performance.
