Job description

The SharePoint Engineer will be responsible for implementing, managing, and supporting SharePoint solutions that align with our organizational objectives. This role involves developing custom SharePoint components, configuring sites, and managing security protocols. The candidate will collaborate with various departments to understand their needs and deliver tailored, high-performance SharePoint solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and deploy SharePoint solutions, including custom applications and workflows.

- Configure and manage SharePoint environments (both on-premises and online).

- Handle SharePoint site setup, maintenance, and governance.

- Integrate SharePoint with other enterprise systems and third-party applications.

- Develop scripts or use existing ones for task automation within SharePoint.

- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users.

- Ensure SharePoint security and compliance protocols are followed.

- Continuously monitor SharePoint architecture health and performance, resolving issues promptly.

- Create and maintain documentation, including technical specifications and user guides.

- Stay up-to-date with SharePoint best practices, features, and updates.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 3+ years of experience in SharePoint development and administration.

- Proficiency in SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server.

- Strong knowledge of SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, and Power Automate.

- Experience with PowerShell scripting and the SharePoint framework (SPFx).

- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development technologies.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Solid understanding of SharePoint security and compliance practices.

- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

Preferred:

- Microsoft SharePoint certifications.

- Experience with Office 365 and related services (e.g., MS Teams, OneDrive).

- Familiarity with Azure services.
