Job description

This is a remote position.

Responsibilities:

Lead or participate in assigned infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet deadlines, requirements, and budget constraints.
Manage and maintain on-premises IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and network equipment.
Assess, install, configure, and test new technologies within the on-premises environment.
Recommend and propose secure IT solutions aligned with business needs.
Support IT budget planning and participate in developing the IT roadmap aligned with technology lifecycles.
Lead and execute technical refresh plans for existing core systems.
Provide timely and accurate reports and updates on infrastructure performance and projects.
Assist in establishing, maintaining, and enforcing IT policies and procedures.
Lead and guide fellow IT engineers to achieve assigned tasks and goals.
Quickly troubleshoot and resolve escalated infrastructure issues.
Implement and manage Windows-based infrastructure and technologies.
Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and security of Windows servers and systems.
Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related services.
Configure and troubleshoot Hypervisor Nutanix virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for enterprise-wide solution implementation and support.
Perform routine system and application updates, patches, and upgrades.
Develop and maintain documentation related to infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.
Provide Level 2 and 3 support for Windows-related issues.
Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support, as needed.

Requirements

Experience:

3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management.
Strong knowledge of on-premises infrastructure including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization
Proven experience with Microsoft 365, and Hyper-V/VMware.
Familiarity with enterprise backup (Symantec/Veeam) and SAN (Nutanix).
Experience in Active Directory, ADFS, SAML, SSO, DNS, and TCP/IP networking.
Successful project management of mid-size to enterprise cloud infrastructure deployments.
Experience with Microsoft Azure (a plus).
Fluent in English communication.
