Directly managing the growth marketing department - SEO, CRO and analytics experts, and working closely with various departments to ensure the websites we deliver to our customers are actually converting and meeting their website KPI’s.
What you’ll do daily
Meet with clients to understand their general marketing strategy and create the website strategy to support this.
Review actual data and insights together with our CRO expert to understand what is actually working for our clients and what should be improved on their website.
Come up with creative ideas, leveraging technology and platforms to increase engagement and conversion.
Plan and execute the initiatives with the team; and measure and report on the impact of the initiatives.
Document and create solid best practices and templates of initiatives we can offer to different clients to improve their buyer experience.
Get up to speed with the latest trends, platforms and technologies of marketing in B2B tech; and share insights with clients and other stakeholders
Ensure delivery of all of the fancy action plans you’ve created by leading experts and working closely with project managers, designers and developers.
Work to create and improve delivery and processes of our growth marketing team, including project templates, checklists, delivery process, quality checks etc.
Support the account director with client success, strategies and potential upsells.
Requirements
How will your success be measured?
Customers’ metrics - increased engagement, conversion rates and opportunities for our clients. You’ll need to back it up with data and even create case studies.
NPS, CSAT and CES metrics - where relevant clients will rate the optimization service
Number of initiatives successfully implemented - we expect you to do stuff and not just think and plan. Execution is a key part of the job
Profitability or the growth marketing department. Everything we do should be supporting our bottom line.
Revenue of the growth marketing department - we expect you to help sell more of our growth marketing services to new and existing clients.
Skills/Experience
You’ve worked as a marketer in tech B2B and actually managed to bring business to the company through digital marketing initiatives; Or
You’ve worked at an agency, in roles such as CRO / Growth Marketer and directly led initiatives for clients which are focused on tech B2B websites.
You truly know how SEO works and can do your own keyword research and optimization if you need, including creating an SEO strategy.
You understand the website optimization process, how to find what to optimize, and how to come up with good ideas, including design improvements, SEO and journey optimization.
You’re experienced with GA4, Google Dashboard, Google Tag Manager and Search console and know how to use these tools to gain insights.
You know how marketing automation works and have hands on experience with HubSpot/Marketo
Bonus points: Experience with SEMRush/6Sense/Chilipiper or similar platforms

What we don’t need you to do
Run PPC campaigns - you should understand the theory to support our clients, but we don’t do PPC
Write content - it’s great if you’ll know the difference between good and bad content, but you won’t write content in this job, we might ask you to write case study for our own use, but those will be edited
Code / Develop / Design anything - we have developers & Designers for that (besides maybe creating raw mockups to explain the need)
How we’ll test you
Besides the standard interview process we’ll expect the following:
Based on a website we’ll choose - we’ll expect to see recommendations plan for SEO, UX & Conversion optimization
We’ll have an exercise based on analytics samples and ask you to find insights
We’ll ask a bunch of questions about tools and platforms our clients use to see how proficient you are
We’ll ask you to prepare a project plan on Asana for either SEO or CRO process
We’ll ask you to explain to us the entire B2B marketing and sales funnel in relation to digital marketing
