Job Description

The Netherlands faces numerous societal challenges, each demanding considerable insights into opportunities and bottlenecks and requiring smart choices. Provinces play a crucial role in confronting these challenges through region-specific and integrated approaches, offering intelligent solutions for spatial issues such as housing, mobility, sustainable energy, and rural transformation. Such solutions, backed by spatial data, contribute to data-driven policy development, implementation, and monitoring.

Our client strongly believes in the pivotal role geography and GIS technology play in provincial work. They are seeking a Provincial Key Account Manager to join their Central Government sector team. If you appreciate the value of GIS for provincial challenges and can persuade these organizations of the importance of spatial thinking, we want to hear from you!

In this role, you will be the primary contact for several provinces and regional government organizations. You will understand how geography (and ArcGIS) can contribute to data-driven efforts of these clients. Collaborating with clients to successfully implement the client's products, services, and training programs, and develop new solutions and propositions, is a key part of your role. Building and maintaining high-quality, sustainable relationships is paramount in this position.

Key Product Features

Our client develops ArcGIS, a leading mapping and spatial analytics software. ArcGIS delivers potent GIS technology that provides tools for capturing, viewing, editing, managing, analyzing, and sharing data in a location context. It offers access to thousands of curated datasets and maps for analysis and insight. ArcGIS can be used on the cloud, mobile devices, and desktops to create maps, apps, dashboards, 3D scenes, models, and data science notebooks.

Qualifications

Required:

- Fluency in Dutch

- Established network in government

- Proficiency in consultative selling and B2B/IT

Preferred:

- Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

- Familiarity with ArcGIS

- Commercial mindset

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee current large accounts and handle new acquisitions
