We’re looking for an experienced IT Technical Sales Trainer / Mentor to support delegates on their advanced apprenticeship in their workplaces in the North West.
The role:
You’ll play a pivotal role in the education of budding technical sales developers, supporting them through an advanced apprenticeship in the workplace. Your role will be based remotely; you’ll be managing a caseload of learners in their workplace via distance learning and occasional site visits.
Why the training provider is a great place for you to work:
1. They’re specialists meaning that you’re delivering training with like minded and knowledgeable professionals, not as part of a generic training provider who’ve decided IT training is a money spinner.
2. They’re small enough to care, but large enough to deliver. The obvious benefits here are you’ll have a faster progression, proximity to senior leaders and diversification in work. Less obvious would be significant positive cultural differences and a steer away from the numbers game - i.e. a commitment to deliver the most industry savvy graduates in the UK rather than farming learners.
3. They really value their people - they have outstanding staff retention levels and offer very structured support and career pathways. You can really grow in this business.
This will involve mentoring and teaching learners on the new standards of IT apprenticeships (full training and support offered if you’re new to training).
This is the job for you, if…
You’re a detailed orientated professional who is great at communicating. You find it easy to pass on your knowledge and you’re comfortable interacting at all levels - able to conduct face to face delivery, prepare teaching, offer support outside of sessions and liaise well whilst working remotely.
You understand how to leverage your own skills and the tools around you to work best with your internal teams & resources, whilst maintaining great relationships with your learners.
You’re driven to work for a specialist IT training provider who truly value their learner outcomes. The mission of making education more accessible, engaging and beneficial to everyone resonates with you, and you’re inspired and motivated to play a vital role.
What we need to see:

•Willingness to gain teaching and assessing qualifications whilst in post or existing qualifications
•GCSE or equivalent in Mathematics and English at Grade C or above
•Knowledge of Government funded Apprenticeship programmes (desired, not essential)
•Highly focussed and self-motivated
•Ability to communicate well
Please get in touch for an informal discussion in the first instance.
