As part of our expansion strategy, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Basis Consultant to join our team.

Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Senior Basis Consultant who is proficient in SAP Business One, Linux, and AWS. The ideal candidate will possess 5-7 years of relevant experience and be capable of handling complex technical environments independently. This is a contractual role with an immediate requirement to join our dynamic team and support our client's critical business operations.

Responsibilities:

SAP Basis Administration:

Perform comprehensive SAP Basis administration tasks including installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of SAP systems.
Ensure the optimal performance, availability, and security of SAP Business One environments.

AWS Cloud Management:

Manage and optimize SAP systems hosted on AWS cloud infrastructure.
Leverage AWS tools and services to enhance system performance, reliability, and scalability.

Linux System Administration:

Perform system administration tasks on Linux servers hosting SAP applications.
Implement best practices for system security, performance tuning, and maintenance.

Technical Support and Troubleshooting:

Provide technical support for SAP Business One users, addressing and resolving issues promptly.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence.

System Upgrades and Patch Management:

Plan and execute SAP system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities.
Ensure minimal downtime and disruption during system updates.

Backup and Recovery:

Implement and manage backup and recovery procedures to safeguard critical business data.
Conduct regular tests to ensure the effectiveness of backup strategies.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes.
Generate regular reports on system performance, health, and usage.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5-7 years of experience in SAP Basis administration, specifically with SAP Business One.
Strong expertise in Linux system administration.
Proficiency in managing SAP systems on AWS cloud infrastructure.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Immediate availability is a must.

Preferred Qualifications:

SAP Certified Technology Associate – System Administration (SAP HANA as a Database) with SAP NetWeaver.
AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent certification.
Experience with other cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud.
