Your missions

Serve as Team Lead on a $1.5M book of business consisting of large real estate accounts.  This role includes program negotiation, client engagement, creating proposals/presentations, and triaging/prioritizing daily requests.  The ideal candidate will work closely with existing Account Executive in NY to review upcoming renewals, strategize client servicing efforts, and delegate duties.  Occasional travel to 2-3 large clients on a semiannual basis will be required.

Primary Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Assist in Real Estate Program negotiations, data manipulation in excel, thorough technical review of all program quotes/policies to insure best possible coverage for members
  • Establish and develop new carrier relationships
  • Work with Philadelphia team on new business coming in from inside and outside sources including submissions, reviewing quotes, proposals, presentations
  • Underwrite and review new business in RE program at peak times of the year
  • Work with IT on further development of Data base (REDS)
  • Assist in RE renewal (quoting and renewing in Data base)

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 5 years+ Commercial Lines client management experience
  • Valid P&C brokers’ license
  • College degree preferred
  • Industry specific designations preferred- CISR, ARM or similar
  • Proficient in insurance agency management systems, AMS 360 and Work Smart preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of Commercial Lines underwriting, coverage, rate analysis/procedures & experience reporting
  • Ability to clearly articulate these products/plans to clients and underwriters, including compliance and legislative information
  • Understanding of marketplace trends and best practices to best meet client needs
