Job description

Responsibilities:
  • Design and build automation test frameworks.
  • Work on both front-end and back-end testing.
  • Verify and track bugs, as well as fix them.
  • Prepare, design, execute, and report on tests.
  • Manage defects using tools like Jira
  • Work closely with the Delivery Team to understand requirements and technical solutions under test.
  • Collaborate with manual testers, developers, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand the business domain and system functionality.
Qualifications:
  • A relevant degree, such as a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a software tester, with proven experience in defining and leading QA cycles.
  • Functional testing experience with transactional business applications.
  • Strong understanding of software product development and QA lifecycles.
  • Skills:

- Proficiency in: Selenium

- SQL

- Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)

- Core testing processes and techniques using different test approaches

- Java

- Automated testing methods and frameworks (e.g., Jenkins)

- Agile methodologies

- Test estimation techniques and approaches

- Data and document management

- Experience with Python for test automation is a plus
