(Remote) Backend Developer (Laravel, PHP, AWS)

We are looking for a talented candidate to join us as a Backend Developer! 

• Tasked with developing and overseeing backend services and applications utilizing the Laravel framework and PHP. 
• This opportunity is open for remote work and welcomes applicants from India and Pakistan with excellent English skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and upkeep backend services and applications using the Laravel framework and PHP.
• Work closely with frontend developers to integrate user interface components with server-side functions.
• Engage in code reviews and provide helpful feedback to improve code quality and sustainability.
• Recognize and resolve bottlenecks and performance problems in current code.
• Deploy applications to cloud platforms and manage their operational performance.
• Swiftly detect and resolve production issues and bugs as they occur.
• Follow best practices to maintain a scalable and maintainable codebase.

Ideal Candidate:

• Proficient in verbal English communication and comprehension.
• Minimum of 5 years of PHP experience, with at least 3 years in Laravel.
• Recently completed a project using Laravel 8, 9, or 10 (with reference).
• Possesses strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking.
• Familiarity with AWS and other cloud platforms for deployment, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring.
• Demonstrates a deep understanding of design patterns and anti-patterns, applying them effectively in project development.
  Contributed to open-source projects or public repositories on platforms like GitHub, GitLab, or BitBucket.
• Experienced with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, including optimizations specific to Laravel models.
• Actively collaborates with team members to enhance productivity and avoid communication gaps.
