In your role you'll become a vital member in a team of skilled professionals, collaborating closely with Data Hub and DataOps teams to manage, optimize, and scale our data platform. Your primary responsibility will involve designing robust data architectures, building efficient ingestion pipelines, and ensuring data availability across the organization. This is you

• Experience: 2 to 5 years of proven experience in Data Engineering or similar roles.

• Cloud Platform: Solid experience with Azure Cloud services and data platforms (Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Event Hubs).

• CI/CD & Version Control: Experience working with Azure DevOps, Azure Repos, and GitHub.

• Programming & Libraries: Strong proficiency in Python or R for data ingestion, along with PySpark and Pandas.

• Data Modeling & Storage: Advanced knowledge of logical and physical data modeling (Data Warehouse / Data Lake), as well as Data Storage strategies.

• Databases: Advanced skills in SQL and NoSQL databases, including strong mastery of T-SQL and PL/SQL, with experience in performance and tuning.

• APIs: Experience making data available and consuming data through APIs for ingestion.

• Visualization: Experience using visualization tools like Power BI.

• Methodologies: Comfortable working under Agile methodologies.

• Soft Skills: Great teamwork, continuous improvement mindset, strong planning skills, and the ability to collaborate across different areas to understand requirements and define scopes.

Nice-to-have skills:

• Experience with PyTest for testing.

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.

This is your role

• Develop processes to populate data structures within defined architectures, generating ingestion and associated documentation between sources and destinations.

• Design and specify the overall structure of databases and data warehouses based on functional and technical requirements.

• Develop strategies for data acquisition, file retrieval, and database execution.

• Develop ETL/ELT processes and data ingestion pipelines from various internal and external sources.

• Ensure data availability in different formats, conducting thorough testing and documentation.

• Integrate data solutions into business processes while implementing automation and monitoring methods.

• Research and stay updated on new tools to support platform evolution.
