Operations Analyst
Remote (PST Hours)
Contract to hire (6 Months)
Pay Rate: $65-70 an hour on W2 (DOE)
The Operations Analyst partners with business and technical stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights, scalable reporting solutions, and process improvements. This role is responsible for managing and optimizing data environments, developing business intelligence solutions, and driving automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business owners and technical teams to intake requests, develop analytical proposals and solutions, and document processes.
- Design, build, maintain, and optimize data warehouses, automated data pipelines, and analytics-as-a-service environments.
- Develop and deliver business intelligence solutions, including data collection, aggregation, analysis, visualization, and reporting.
- Transform data into actionable insights through effective storytelling and executive-level reporting.
- Drive and implement automation initiatives to improve scalability, efficiency, and operational flexibility.
- Present proposals, roadmaps, analytical findings, and project updates to leadership on a regular basis.
- Ensure high standards of data accuracy, integrity, and quality through strong attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional experience in an analytics, operations, or business intelligence role.
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with Tableau.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience working with SQL and database management.
- Strong analytical experience with databases, including writing complex queries, query optimization, debugging, and working with user-defined functions, views, and indexes.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Experience using GitHub or similar version control tools.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
