This is a remote position.

Client is seeking a Senior Data Architect to support the OneData Alberta and Crosswalk initiatives. The role focuses on enterprise data architecture, Data Fabric/Data Mesh frameworks, cloud and hybrid data platforms, AI-enabled data products, secure data sharing, and enterprise-wide interoperability.

The consultant will provide strategic architectural leadership for modern data ecosystems across platforms including Snowflake, Microsoft Azure, and Cloudera, enabling scalable, governed, and secure enterprise data solutions.

• Enterprise architecture documents and solution designs
  
• Data models, semantic layer designs, and integration frameworks

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or Certification in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related discipline
  

Required Experience

• 5+ years of enterprise data architecture experience
  
• 5+ years in multiple architecture domains:
  • Business Architecture
    
  • Application Architecture
    
  • Technology Architecture
    
  • Data Architecture
    
• 5+ years designing and implementing enterprise data platforms and integrations
  
• 5+ years modelling complex business processes and translating them into technical solutions
  
• 5+ years supporting infrastructure and enterprise software environments
  
• 3+ years communicating complex data concepts to stakeholders and clients
