Requirements:

  • Oversee daily operations of business systems, coordinating events around the systems (e.g., UAT, system upgrades, fixes) and communications between vendors, staff and providers.
  • Facilitate scrum for larger teams by ensuring the scrum framework is followed and agile principles and best practices are applied, while remaining flexible to team improvements.
  • Support long-range planning for enhancement and implementation of future business systems and contribute to development, implementation, and maintenance of system architecture, design, configuration, or program specifications.
  • Manage scrum artifacts and ceremonies, including facilitating daily standups, participating in sprint reviews, maintaining the scrum board, and analyzing burndown charts and portfolio planning tools.

What We’re Looking For


Trillium Health Resources has a career opening for an IT Scrum Master to join our team! The IT Scrum Master is a technical and administrative position responsible for the daily oversight, maintenance and operations of the Business Systems for Trillium including coordinating events around the business systems (i.e. UAT, system upgrades, fixes, etc.), communication between vendors, staff and providers, and assisting with long-range planning and reporting. This position will facilitate scrum to the larger teams by ensuring the scrum framework is followed, adhering to the scrum methodology, agile principles, and best practices but should also remain flexible and open to opportunities for the team to improve the workforce.


On a typical day, you might:


  • Assist with long-range planning for enhancement and implementation of future business systems.
  • Discover and contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of business systems functional architecture, detail systems design, configuration, or program specifications.
  • Facilitate daily standups (or the daily scrum) as needed.
  • Participate in sprint reviews and capture feedback.
  • Provide administrative support for scrum board. Ensure cards are up to date and scrum tools are working well.
  • Collaborate with team members and other internal stakeholders.
  • Perform regular analysis of burndown charts and other portfolio planning tools.

Qualifications


Required:

  • High School diploma/GED and three (3) years of experience working in application environments with hands-on experience with monitoring system operations. Requires certification. Applicable certification(s) may be substituted to equivalent degree and experience requirements; OR
  • Associate’s degree and a minimum of one (1) year of experience working in application environments with hands-on experience with monitoring system operations. Requires certification. Applicable certification(s) may be substituted to equivalent degree and experience requirements; OR
  • Equivalent combination of education/experience. 
  • High School/GED and Two-Year degrees require certification. 
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must reside within North Carolina. 


Preferred:

  • Experience in a distributed computer environment and supporting a complex integrated software package, training or experience in using e-mail, Windows and Microsoft Office. 
  • Experience in both writing and executing SQL statements, with the ability to navigate database structures and schemas.
  • Preferred certifications include Microsoft applications certifications MTA, MCSA, MCSD, or equivalent.
