Role Overview
  • This role is for the person who keeps the wheels turning when construction projects start moving at full speed.
  • You’ll sit at the centre of project coordination, commercial support, and contract administration — helping ensure documentation is accurate, budgets stay visible, stakeholders stay aligned, and deadlines don’t slip through the cracks.
  • From subcontractor coordination and variation tracking to financial reporting and project closeouts, you’ll help bring structure and momentum to multiple live construction projects across Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate subcontractor documentation and agreements.
  • Manage RFIs, variations, work orders, and drawing transmittals.
  • Maintain project registers and ensure document accuracy.
  • Assist with budget tracking and financial reporting.
  • Support tender analysis and scope development.
  • Coordinate project closeout documentation.
  • Prepare and maintain operation & maintenance manuals.
  • Ensure monthly reporting deadlines are achieved.
  • Maintain data accuracy across live project systems.
  • Support project delivery teams with commercial and operational coordination.
  • Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
  • Track outstanding items and follow up to completion.

Requirements

Required Qualifications (Must-Have):
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction-related roles.
  • Experience in Quantity Surveying, Contract Administration, Project Coordination, or Commercial Construction Support.
  • Experience supporting Australian, UK, or US construction businesses.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience managing live project documentation.
  • Exposure to financial tracking and job costing.
  • Experience coordinating across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working within ISO9001 environments.
  • Experience supporting remote construction project teams.
  • Exposure to project closeout and O&M documentation processes.
