We are hiring a bold, inventive leader to run Developer & PLG Marketing. This role is at the heart of Deepgram’s growth—sitting at the intersection of developer empathy and growth execution. The right candidate will bring a mix of developer credibility, marketing instincts, experimentation rigor, and PLG obsession.

This is a highly visible role reporting directly to the CMO with frequent interaction with the executive team. Its a rare opportunity to help architect the organic growth motion of one of AI’s most important infrastructure companies.

What Youll Do

Developer Marketing

  • Build and execute programs to reach, inspire, and enable developers globally

  • Lead strategy and execution for organic discovery: SEO, content, influencers, partnerships, affiliates

  • Drive web conversion rate optimization and funnel performance across Deepgram’s site and docs

  • Partner with Product, Sales, and Support to deeply understand the developer journey

  • Activate developer advocates and community members to extend our reach and credibility

    • PLG Growth

      • Own the topoffunnel signup growth number across paid and organic sources

      • Develop and run growth experiments to drive conversion, activation, and expansion

      • Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Digital teams to test and optimize PLG levers

      • Ensure smooth transitions from signup → activation → sales engagement for highpotential users

      • Leverage data and experimentation frameworks to unlock new paths to revenue

      • Drive distribution through owned and earned channels

              Qualifications
              • 7+ years in developer marketing, growth marketing, or productled growth roles

              • Proven track record of driving bottomup growth in a B2B or APIfirst company

              • Strong empathy for developers and familiarity with the tools they use

              • Ability to partner across Product, Engineering, and Sales

              • Deep understanding of growth loops, experimentation, and CRO

              • Experience working in highgrowth, fastpaced environments with small, agile teams

              • Creative risktaker who thrives on building new playbooks, not repeating old ones

              • High energy, high motivation, high intelligence, high curiosity. In it for the love of the game.

                • Preferred Experience

                  • Background in marketing to technical personas or API products

                  • Experience leading or mentoring a small team

                  • Familiarity with voice AI or LLMbased tooling
