Job Summary 

We are seeking a full-time, Procurement Support Specialist to provide team leadership and support for the United States Coast Guard in government acquisition lifecycle services. This position is fully remote.   

***This is a contingent hire position with an anticipated start date of early September 2025.***  

Responsibilities and Duties 

  • Track and document processes regarding acquisition facilitation and vendor management through planning, processes, and other functions. 

  • Support the facilitation, training, and support in acquisition process improvements in achieving mission objectives.  

  • Standardize reporting to leadership to maximize contract execution. 

  • Track, organize and curate documented changes to processes to monitor and evaluate post-award activities. 

  • Support the team in preparing briefings about new regulations, processes, and procedures. 

  • Provide consultation to program and project management office on contracting issues. 

  • Assist in the development of and participates in training acquisition staff or other stakeholders on acquisition regulations, processes, or procedures. 

Qualifications and Skills 

  • Contracting certification under FAC-C or DAWIA. 

  • Certified Associate in Project Management Professional (CAPM), or 

  • CMMI Associate Certificate – will provide training for certification.  

Education 

  • Bachelor’s degree in management, business, public policy, or English, preferred.
