What Does the Role Entail?

As a Graduate Product Owner, you will be an integral part of Fenergo’s SaaS product team. As part of the team, you will have a chance to influence the direction of the product front to back and grow with the product as we continue to build out our offerings. We are building the platform using the latest technologies and cloud-based architecture, utilizing the power of platform services. The team is transforming the way we design and build software so that value is delivered quickly to our users.

Your Responsibilities

• Support Backlog Management
  Assist Product Owners in maintaining and prioritising the product backlog by writing clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and ensuring alignment with business goals.

• Conduct Market and User Research
  Help gather customer feedback, analyse competitor features, and identify market trends to inform product decisions and shape future enhancements.

• Product Delivery
  Participate in planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, ensuring accurate documentation and collaboration across product, design & engineering

• Track and Communicate Progress
  Monitor development progress, assist in testing new features, and support internal and external stakeholders with updates, demos, and product documentation.

• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong attention to detail.

Preferred

• Experience of working with tools to manage backlog work items and interact with product development teams towards a shared outcome
• Experience in designing business processes and features, utilising design thinking methodologies
• Understand the value of design thinking methodologies and champion them

• Experience working in the financial services industry as a product manager, management consultant, product owner or similar

Educational

• Bachelor’s or Master's Degree: A degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
