About the Role

This is a full-time and part-remote role for a Community Manager, located in Dhaka. The Community Manager will be responsible for engaging with community members through various channels, moderating discussions, creating and sharing content, organizing events, responding to inquiries, and managing community feedback. The role will also involve analyzing community metrics and trends to develop strategies that foster community growth and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively engage with community members, primarily via Facebook, to ensure a positive, responsive, and supportive user experience.
  • Manage member accounts efficiently by creating, onboarding, and maintaining them for a seamless customer journey.
  • Create and share interactive content, including daily and weekly posts, polls, contests, and promotional activities to increase engagement.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with community members to promote satisfaction, retention, and active participation.
  • Promptly address member inquiries and resolve issues or escalate them when necessary to ensure timely solutions.
  • Collect, monitor, and evaluate community feedback and performance data to improve engagement strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or any relevant field is preferred.
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in a similar role as a Community Manager, Social Media Moderator, or Customer Engagement Specialist.
  • Strong working knowledge of Facebook Business Suite, Notion, Figma, Google Drive and other community platforms.
  • Basic familiarity with account management tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with a professional and friendly tone in online interactions.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple conversations and resolve customer concerns with composure and efficiency.
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional teams to meet community goals.

Employment Structure

  • Remote
  • Work Week: Monday - Friday, either 8:00 PM to 4:00 AM BST or 4:00 AM to 12:00 PM BST
  • We are open to hiring part-time (approximately 45 hours/day during US business hours) or full-time
  • Part-Time Salary: BDT 20,000

  • Full-Time Salary: BDT 30,000 - 35,000
