POSITION SUMMARY The Project Analyst is a key member of the Operational Finance team within our centralized Project Management Office (PMO). This role functions at the intersection of project execution, operations, and finance—supporting cross-functional performance tracking and financial governance. The analyst helps translate project activity into business insights and supports leadership with accurate, timely, and actionable data to guide decisions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as an embedded resource within the PMO’s Operational Finance team, supporting project tracking and performance analysis
Monitor and analyze operational and financial KPIs across markets, construction projects, and business units
Lead and support monthly and quarterly reporting cycles, including variance analysis and budget-to-actuals reviews
Coordinate data inputs across operations, finance, accounting, and people teams to ensure alignment and accuracy
Assist with tracking, management, and analysis of network-related expenditures and operational costs to ensure accurate reporting, cost controls, and alignment with project and budget expectations
Partner with the BI & Systems team to develop and maintain dashboards, trackers, and reporting tools to drive transparency into passings, capital deployment, and workforce planning
Support the PMO’s grant administration team on reimbursement processes, ensuring proper documentation, cost tracking, and submission readiness
Assist with governance activities, including capital tracking, vendor spend, and milestone-based reporting
Prepare summary reports, visuals, and materials for executive leadership and board-level presentations
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
2–5 years of experience in business operations, FP&A, or project-based financial analysis
Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills
Strong collaboration and communication skills; able to synthesize inputs from multiple stakeholders and present data clearly
Comfortable in fast-paced, high-growth environments with competing priorities and evolving business needs
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Telecom, infrastructure, or technology sector experience preferred
Experience with BI tools such as Looker or Power BI a plus
Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis and workflow automation
Experience working with CRMs or business process platforms such as Zoho, Salesforce, or HubSpot
Exposure to GIS tools and spatial data platforms

The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday during standard business hours.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Base pay is paid at an hourly rate/annual salary rate. The range for this position is $65,000 to $85,000 depending on experience.
Target annual bonus 5-10% depending on experience.
