POSITION SUMMARY The PMO Program Manager oversees a diverse portfolio of Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) deployment programs happening in multiple states and markets—ranging from new market launches to MDU & developer projects, grant-funded builds, strategic acquisitions, and integration efforts. Acting as a centralized resource, you will unify Construction, Engineering, Finance, Sales & Marketing, Community Relations, IT, and Compliance to deliver programs on time, within budget, and aligned to Vero's strategic goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES Programs
Provide visibility & oversight to end-to-end execution of FTTH deployment programs across multiple active markets, including planning, construction, and activation.
Drive capital management, ensuring budgets and forecasts are accurate, timely, and aligned with corporate expectations.
Partner with Procurement, Accounting, and Finance to support budget tracking, cost-to-complete analyses, and financial reporting.
Cross-Functional Execution
Coordinate across departments to align project goals, timelines, and deliverables—serving as the centralized PMO point of contact.
Lead new market launch readiness efforts, from market assessment through go-to-market execution.
Assist MDU and developer implementation programs, ensuring alignment between sales commitments and operational delivery.
Support execution and integration of acquisitions, including onboarding of new assets, systems alignment, and operational transition planning.
Facilitate internal coordination and milestone management for grant-funded construction programs; assist with required documentation and reimbursement processes.
Governance, Reporting & Strategic Insight
Develop and maintain integrated schedules, capital dashboards, and program-level status reports.
Leverage data and analysis to surface insights, evaluate trade-offs, and influence strategic decisions at the leadership level.
Deliver executive updates and stakeholder communications that clearly summarize program health, risks, and opportunities.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives across the PMO to enhance efficiency, reporting quality, and execution consistency.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
5-8 years of experience in program or large-portfolio management within telecom, broadband, utilities, or infrastructure
Proven ability to manage multiple high-value deployment programs concurrently across various geographies and functions
Demonstrated ability to use data and analysis to drive operational insights and support strategic decision-making
Proficiency in PM & operational tools and dashboards (e.g., Smartsheet, Monday.com, Tableau/Power BI, Salesforce/HubSpot, GIS platforms)
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, lookups, and modeling); and Microsoft Project for detailed scheduling, task dependencies, and resource management
Excellent communicator with the ability to convey technical and strategic topics to executive and field-level stakeholders
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Construction Management, Business, or related field or equivalent work experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrated ability to grow and mentor a high-performing team, leading cross-functional initiatives that drive strategic execution and contribute to Vero’s long-term success
Experience with state and federal broadband funding programs (e.g., BEAD, CPF, RDOF)
Prior involvement in acquisition due diligence, integration planning, or post-close operational alignment
Advanced degree (MBA, MS) or formal training in finance, analytics, or infrastructure strategy
JOB DETAILS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This role requires occasional travel up to 15% of the time for activities such as out-of-town meetings, training, or outreach activities.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Base pay is paid at an hourly rate/annual salary rate. The range for this position is $110,000 to $130,000 depending on experience.
