About the Role:

We are seeking a Mid-Level AI Automation Engineer to design, develop, and deploy intelligent automation solutions utilising n8n and other AI tools. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to automate repetitive tasks, integrate third-party systems, and improve operational efficiency across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain automated workflows using n8n, integrating APIs, databases, and third-party tools.
Incorporate AI models (LLMs, NLP, ML-based classification, etc.) into workflows for intelligent decision-making.
Optimise the performance and reliability of existing automation pipelines.
Collaborate with developers, data scientists, and operations to build and improve internal AI/automation frameworks.
Monitor and troubleshoot production workflows, ensuring timely resolution of failures or delays.
Maintain documentation for automation processes, integrations, and technical architecture.
Ensure security, compliance, and best practices are followed across all automation workflows.

Key Skills & Qualities:

2–4 years of experience in software development or automation engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with n8n (self-hosted or cloud version).
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, webhooks, and JSON data formats.
Proficient in JavaScript or TypeScript; basic Python knowledge is a plus.
Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and deploying automation in cloud environments.
Experience working with AI/ML APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Google Cloud AI, Hugging Face).
Knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and integration with automation tools.
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
