Key responsibilities:

  • Teach a course each term (10 hours weekly) or facilitate residencies.
  • Conduct group supervision for multiple groups each term.
  • Serve as a program advisor for approximately 20 students annually.
  • Participate in group interview rotations for prospective students.

Description

The Spiritual Direction Certificate at Divine Mercy University (DMU) invites applications for an Instructor position, including the following responsibilities:

  

Teach a course each SDC term (10 hrs weekly) 3 courses per academic year or facilitating ( 6 residencies a year)

Other related tasks that could become available are:

  1. Group supervision each DMU term (5 hours each term) for a total of 5 groups per academic year
  2. Program advisor for 20 students each academic year (total of 30 hours throughout the year)
  3. Group interview rotations for each SDC term - do 3 interviews a term (4 hrs) 9 interviews per academic year
Requirements

Applicants must have the following minimal qualifications: 


1. MA or PhD in Spiritual Theology, Philosophy, Counseling or a related fied.

2. 5 years experience as a Spiritual Director 

3.  Exemplify a commitment to diverse worldviews and faiths while upholding the Catholic Christian vision of the person.
