Come join the ES Real Estate Workplace Operations Center of Excellence. Workplace Operations is responsible to drive key initiatives such as CORE maturity, data and systems improvements, and serve as a cross-functional program management office, helping to implement cross-functional initiatives.  


What You Will do:

This position's main responsibility is to establish and oversee CORE implementation and process improvements within the Workplace COE organization. The ideal candidate will possess the following: demonstrated customer focus, strong critical thinking and ability to develop relationships. Experience in CORE/Lean Sigma, Process Improvement, Project Management, Real Estate, and/or Facility related program/ project execution.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish and oversee CORE implementation and process improvements within the Workplace COE organization.
  • The main objective is to implement best practices that promote standardization, efficiency, and excellence in workplace and occupancy planning.
  • Develops effective relationships across Business Units and ES Real Estate.
  • Leads and facilitates CORE engagements that tie to Workplace Strategy goals and strategic initiatives.
  • Focused on leveraging CAFM and other innovative tools to ensure informed decision making to optimize process improvements and overall operational efficiency.
  • May provide support for reporting of control tower metrics.
  • May support the development of presentations to business unit stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with Enterprise Real Estate Services processes and procedures.


Qualifications You Must Have:

  • This role typically requires a bachelors degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience gained in an Operations, Data Management, Consulting or Corporate Real Estate setting .
  • At least 7 years experience with and knowledge of Corporate Real Estate transactions to include a working knowledge of Project Management, Construction Development, Workplace Strategy and Facility Management.
  • Experience building relationships in complex situations both internally and externally.
  • Ability to understand the financial impact of decisions and knowledge of financial terms & principles.
  • Ability to comprehend and solve complex problems requiring both qualitative and quantitative considerations.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced work environment included matrixed organizations.
  • Advanced Degree
  • RTX CORE or other Lean process experience
  • Experience in cross-functional leadership such as Operations, EH&S, Security, Program Management
  • Corporate finance expertise preferred with 2+ years of asset/portfolio management experience

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
