Job Description:

POSITION:                       Lead Platform Engineer, SDLC Services

WORKSITE:                    6300 Bee Cave Road Building One, Austin, TX 78746

DUTIES: Design and engineer SDLC services, including technology selection, implementation, and operationalizing for developer tools, version control systems, and CI/CD pipelines. Engage with application development teams to drive SDLC best practices and assist with their utilization of tools, processes, and services. Migrate on-premises systems to SaaS/cloud-based offerings, where appropriate. Develop software solutions using scripting and back-end technologies. Collaborate with subject matter experts in a variety of areas to drive the success of our developers, business users, and clients. This includes working with: designing, implementing, and/or supporting Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Delivery (CD) systems and services; familiarity with Linux and related technologies; agile/scrum methodologies and the tools that support them; aware of on-premises systems, including SaaS technologies; and Docker and Kubernetes. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and partner with technical product owners to define roadmap. May work from home office and where Dimensional has an office. #LI-DNI

MINIUM REQUIREMENTS:  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and 8 years of experience developing software solutions. Additionally, 5 years of experience stated herein to involve: (1) designing, implementing, and/or supporting Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery systems and services; (2) working knowledge of version control, artifact management systems, and deployment automation; (3) familiarity with Linux and related technologies. Further, 2 years of experience stated herein to involve: (a) agile/scrum methodologies and the tools that support them; (b) aware of on-premises systems, including SaaS technologies. Finally, 1 year of experience stated herein to involve Docker and Kubernetes.

ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and 6 years of experience developing software solutions. Additionally, 5 years of experience stated herein to involve: (1) designing, implementing, and/or supporting Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Delivery (CD) systems and services; (2) familiarity with Linux and related technologies. Further, 2 years of experience stated herein to involve: (a) agile/scrum methodologies and the tools that support them; (b) aware of on-premises systems, including SaaS technologies. Finally, 1 year of experience stated herein to involve Docker and Kubernetes.
