What you'll be doing
You’ll be joining CIBC’s Asset Management (CAM) Technology group within Simplii & Direct Investing Technology and will be at the heart of CIBC’s technology transformation. As Sr. Consultant, Application Development, you will be accountable for establishing, executing and driving the technology application delivery for CAM Technology. You will collaborate with multiple application teams in the organization for the technology development (operational and project initiatives) for this business area using the latest technologies. You will assist in shaping the strategic technology direction in accordance with the business agenda, determine technology optimization, appropriate risk management, and provide the development and maintenance capability for CAM technology systems, applications and processes to meet current and future business needs. This role has full accountability for a variety of technology disciplines and hands-on development work would be expected (along with its technical leadership capability).
